Flynn is a native of Randolph, NJ and previously played for the New Jersey Rockets... Named CCM Hockey/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Men's Division II-III All-American Third Team East along with being named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-MAC as well as First Team All-UCHC as a senior in 2021-22. He was also an NCAA statistical champion with 1.33 assists per game... Named First Team All-UCHC and Second Team All-MAC as a junior... As a sophomore Flynn was selected a CCM Hockey/AHCA First Team East All-American and was a finalist for the 2020 Sid Watson Award given by the AHCA to the NCAA Division II-III Player of the Year. He was named All-USCHO Divsion III Second Team and the UCHC Co-Player of the Year and First Team All-UCHC along with First Team All-MAC. He was also an NCAA statistical champion with 1.00 goals per game and 14 power play goals... As a freshman he was named to the All-USCHO Rookie Team, named to the D3hockey.com Team of the Week on November 1, 2018, named the UCHC Rookie of the Year and a member of the UCHC All-Rookie Team while also earning a spot on the UCHC Second-Team and was also selected First Team All-MAC.
