Michael Connor enters his second season on the Wilkes staff as a graduate assistant for the Colonels. Connor will serve as the Colonels goalie coach after a successful four years at Wingate University in North Carolina. Connor is a native of Stockport, England.
Connor served as a senior captain while finishing his career with winning Wingate’s first ever South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship. Wingate also gained a seed to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in their history.
Connor was a member of the 2012 England Under 19 Team that played in the World Games in Turku, Finland. Connor led England to finish fourth in the games behind only the United States, Canada and the Iroquois Nationals.
Connor graduated from Wingate University in May 2017 with a degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Connor is pursuing his Masters of Business Administration at Wilkes.
