Max Correa enters his third season as an assistant coach for the Wilkes Men's Soccer team in 2021. In his two years with the Colonels, he has played a role in all aspects of the program including recruiting, scouting, and on-field training. Max was involved with organizing the program’s first international trip in February 2019 and has coached two All-MAC Freedom honorees.
Correa joins the Colonels after a four-year career at Drew University. Most recently, Correa served as a coach with the United Soccer Academy in Chatham, New Jersey, where he helped with ID Clinics and coaching individual players. Correa also holds licenses from the United States Soccer Federation (National D and Grassroots National F licenses).
While with Rangers, Correa served as a team captain and was named to the Dean's List every semester from 2015 to graduation. In addition to his success off the field, Correa was a two-time First Team All-Landmark selection and First Team All-ECAC. In 2017, Correa led Drew to a Landmark Conference Championship and an appearance in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III Tournament, and in 2018 led the team to an ECAC Championship while earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Correa ended his career as the all-time leader in assists in the Landmark with 26, which placed him third all-time with the Rangers program.
Correa graduated from Drew in 2018 with a degree in Economics with minors in Spanish and Business.
