Jill Price is the Wilkes Adventure Education (WAE) Coordinator and teaches two first-year classes: Yoga and Meditation and Intro to Adventure Education.
Jill earned a BA in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she also played a few seasons of Lacrosse and Softball. In 2020 Jill completed an MA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University. While all her formal education is in English and Writing, Jill’s been devoted to Experiential Education the past 25 years. She worked many seasons at a variety of camps, outdoor education centers, and recreation-based learning programs, where nature and purposeful play allowed her to fall in love with teaching. Teambuilding is her passion. She enjoys weaving intentional activities and mind set methods to assist athletes and teams to perform to highest potential. Work and lifestyle intersect for Jill, and she’s often found exploring trails and sipping coffee under starry skies deep in the woods with Wilkes Adventure Ed Alumni and her son Gus.
