Haus begins his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Wilkes Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs in 2026-27.
Haus is the owner of SST Tennis, and the Facility Manager/Tennis Director at Empower Sports in Kingston, PA, and has over 30 years of experience in tennis prior to joining the Colonel staff.
Haus served as Director of Tennis at Birchwood Tennis and Fitness in Clarks Summit from 2003-2023 and served a five-year stint as Tennis Director at Limestone Tennis Club in Manilus, N.Y. from 1996-2000. Haus also spent time as the USTA Middle States National Zonals Coach from 2003-2019, and seven years coaching at the New York Empire State Games from 1996-2002.
Along with his coaching experience, Haus spent many years involved in regional and national tennis organizations. He served as Vice President of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) from 2010-2021, Chairman of the Eastern Pennsylvania District for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) from 2016-2022, and a Delegate on the Middle States Board for the USTA from 2020-2022.
Haus is a 1987 graduate of West Virginia University.
