Alex Hoops begins her second season as an assistant coach with the Wilkes softball team following a fine three-year career with the Navy and Gold.
Hoops was a three-time All-Freedom performer at first base for the Lady Colonels after transferring in from Division II Millersville University in 2013.
Hoops finished her Wilkes career among the top ten in several statistical categories including fifth all-time in batting average (.376) and ninth in runs scored (68). She also finished eighth all-time in hits (124) and doubles (25) while concluding her career sixth in program history in runs batted in (70).
Hoops is currently finishing her CPA certification before beginning work with Baker, Tilley, LLC.
