Jan Mazza ’06 begins her sixth season as an assistant coach with the Wilkes University softball team.
Mazza, a two-time All-Freedom Conference performer, was a four-year starter for the Lady Colonels playing from 2003 to 2006. She was part of the 2006 Freedom Conference championship team that finished 28-15 earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament.
She also stands in the top ten in the Wilkes career record book in numerous offensive categories including seventh in at-bats (392), fifth in batting average (.353), eighth in hits (111), seventh in doubles (24), tenth in runs batted in (61) and eighth in walks (27).
