Olivia Golay begins her second season in the Colonel softball dugout in 2021.
Golay comes to Wilkes after a playing career for Division I St. Bonaventure University, where she was a three-year starter in the infield for the Bonnies. While at St. Bonaventure, Golay was once named the University's Athlete of the Week, in addition to being a Female Athlete of the Year nominee her junior season. As a senior, Golay was named to the Atlantic 10 Commisioner's Honor Roll.
In addition to her playing experience, Golay served as an Assistant Varsity Coach at West Scranton High School for two seasons.
Golay is no stranger to the Northeast Pennsylvania softball scene, as she was prepped at Holy Cross High School in Scranton, and graduated from Saint Bonaventure in May 2019 with a degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education with a concentration in English.
