Lindsay Howard enters her fifth season as assistant coach of the Colonels in 2022-23.
Howard comes to Wilkes after spending six seasons as an assistant coach under Tara Macciocco at Marywood University. During her time with the Pacers, Howard was in charge of mentoring players during practice and games, recruitment of student-athletes, development of all strength and conditioning programs and game and practice preparation including film exchange and strategic planning.
Howard currently works as a Sports Nutrition and Exercise Science Instructor at Marywood and is a Personal Trainer / Strength and Conditioning Coach with C&S Athletic Club in Moosic, Pa. She served as the Graduate Assistant for Athletics and Recreation at Marywood from 2013-2015.
A 2012 graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Howard also was a four-year member of the Raiders women’s basketball team where she currently ranks sixth in career blocks.
Howard earned her Masters of Science in Sports Nutrition and Exercise Science from Marywood in May of 2016 as well as receiving her Nutrition and Dietetics DPD Verification Statement. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Marywood in May of 2017 and is a professional member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2013 and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine since 2015.
