Sheila Cook joins the Wilkes sidelines following a distinguished career at Muhlenberg College.
Cook was a four-year letterwinner and key member of Muhlenberg basketball teams that went 91-23, won three Centennial Conference championships and earned four NCAA Tournament bids - twice reaching the "Sweet 16" - in her four years. She finished her career ninth on the Mules' all-time scoring list with 974 career points, averaging 8.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Cook had some of her best games in the postseason, scoring a career-high 26 points in a 2009 CC semifinal game and recording back-to-back 20-point games in the 2011 CC playoffs. As a senior captain, Cook was named the 2011 Centennial Conference Tournament MVP.
Cook was also a standout in the classroom being named a "Who's Who Among College and Universities" 2011 edition award winner. She also served as a member of the Muhlenberg College Judicial Board, Panhellenic Council, and Student-Athlete Representative for Gender and Equity Committee.
She graduated from Muhlenberg in May 2011 with a degree in English with a Secondary Education certification. She earned her Master's degree in Education with a primary focus of teaching English as a second language at Wilkes in May of 2013.
