This bio is now a part of a historical archive, the individual was on the coaching staff from 2010 to 2016 and is no longer employed by Wilkes University. 

Terry Balliet enters his fifth year on the Wilkes University sidelines in 2015-16 season.

After graduating from Palmerton High School in 1962, Balliet began coaching in the Palmerton Girls CYO program in 1975. In 1986, Balliet was named Head Junior Varsity Girls Coach at Palmerton High School. He then went on to be the Head Girls Varsity Coach at Northwestern Lehigh High School. After a 10 year stint at Northwester Lehigh, Balliet returned to his alma mater, Palmerton High School, as the Head Freshman Girls Coach where he remained until 2009. Balliet finished his high school girls coaching career well above the .500 mark.

Balliet has a true passion for the game of basketball and is thrilled to be making his return to the game in his first year coaching at the collegiate level. He classifies himself as a “builder” who has coached several players on to the college level. Balliet says that the thing he does best is making girls better players, and he looks forward to the opportunity to do that here at Wilkes.

Balliet has two children, a daughter Jamie and a son Jason. He has been married to his wife Eileen for 12 years.
