Matos is a native of Springfield, Mass. and Chicopee High School... Named Second Team All-Landmark Conference as a sophomore in 2023-24 and an Honorable Mention in 2024-25.

As a senior, Matos became the 14th player in program history to reach the 1000-point mark in her career against Eastern University.

Named to CSC Academic All-District Team in 2024-25 and 2025-26.
