Taylor Drumheller begins her first season as the head coach of the Wilkes University women’s lacrosse team after being hired in early September 2025.
Drumheller becomes the sixth head coach in program history since its inception in 2004. She also makes her third stop as a head coach in her decade-long career, joining her husband Jordan, who joined the Wilkes men’s lacrosse program as head coach in July of this year.
Drumheller joins the Colonels after a brief stop at Landmark member Juniata College where she spent the past two months. Prior to Juniata, Drumheller enjoyed a successful tenure at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, where she guided the Warriors to the best start in program history during the 2025 season with a 7-3 record prior to entering Southern Athletic Association (SAA) conference play.
In 2024, her first year as head coach, she led Hendrix to its most wins since 2019 and a return to the SAA playoffs. Under her leadership, the team produced two All-SAA First Team selections, two honorable mention honorees, and the conference's Newcomer of the Year in goal. The Warriors also collected three SAA Player of the Week awards and saw two student-athletes recognized with IWLCA Academic Honor accolades.
Before taking over as head coach, Drumheller served as Hendrix's assistant coach during the 2022–23 season, where she played a key role in recruitment, strength and conditioning, and game day operations. That year, the Warriors posted their best start since 2019 and were recognized as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
Drumheller began her coaching career as an assist at three different spot including Hood College (2021-22), Bridgewater College (2018-21) and Elizabethtown College (2016-18). At Hood, she helped the program reach academic milestones while pursuing her MBA. At Bridgewater, she coached multiple All-ODAC selections and helped guide a VASID All-State First Team honoree. While at Elizabethtown, she contributed to a Landmark Conference playoff run and helped develop the Landmark Player of the Year.
Drumheller, a Pennsylvania native, graduated from Millersville University in 2015 where she played lacrosse all four years including being named captain her senior season.
