David Teres begins his second season as graduate assistant coach in 2015-2016. David comes to Wilkes following a fine playing career at the University of Scranton.
At Scranton, David was a four-year letterwinner and posted a 33-16 record in singles and 32-18 mark in doubles. David was also named first-team all-Landmark Conference in both singles and doubles three times, one of only three players in Scranton history to achieve that feat. He also served as team captain during the 2013-2014 year.
David also has an extensive career as a teaching professional. He worked at Courtside Racket Club as a tennis professional from 2008-2012. During 2013, he worked as a teaching pro at Smith Stearns Tennis Academy in Hilton Head Island, SC.
He graduated from the University of Scranton in 2014 with a B.S. in Finance.
