Victor "Torr" Terranova begins his third season as head coach of the Wilkes men's and women's tennis teams in 2020-21 after being hired on October 1, 2018.
In a shortened 2019-20 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Terranova mentored Alexa Cieri to just the program's second singles title at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Southeast Regional when she became the E Singles champion. Cieri and Laura Zielinski became the first Colonels duo in program history to win a double title at the ITA Southeast Regional by winning the C Doubles title.
Terranova took charge of two programs that have dominated the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) and MAC Freedom in recent years and did not miss a beat in the 2018-19 campaign as the Colonels men earned their 12th consecutive MAC Freedom championship and won a First Round NCAA Tournament match for the fifth consecutive season. The women's side collected its 13th consecutive MAC Freedom championship before falling in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament to nationally ranked TCNJ.

In addition to exceling on the court, Terranova’s programs have found success in the classroom as he coached five NCAA All-Academic athletes and 18 ITA All-Academic players between his time at Hartford and Quinnipiac.
Prior to his collegiate experience, Terranova was the Head Girl’s Coach at Weston High School in Connecticut from 2010-11, where he won a State Championship and was named Coach of the Year.
