This bio is now a part of a historical archive, the individual was on the staff from 2011-2012 and is no longer employed by Wilkes University. 

Marissa Harrison, a 2010 Wilkes graduate, serves as an assistant coach under head coach Joseph Czopek. Harrison returns to Wilkes after one of the most decorated careers in Wilkes volleyball history.

The Shavertown, Pa. native was a four-year member of the Wilkes volleyball squad playing outside hitter for the Lady Colonels from 2007-2010. She currently sits as the school’s all-time leader in kills with 1,570. Harrison also holds the school record for kills in a single season with 404 in 2009. She was a three-time All-Freedom Conference performer gaining second team status twice (sophomore and senior years) and first team once as a junior. Harrison earned MAC All-Academic three times as a Pharmacy major.

During her four years, Wilkes compiled 50 victories making two trips to the Freedom Conference Tournament including a semifinal appearance in 2008.
