Gyenizs is a native of Madison, Conn. and Daniel Hand High School... Finished 4th at 2016 MAC Championships and 8-11 during his freshman season... Finished 7th at the Messiah Petrofes and 14-11 overall in 2016-17... Finished 2nd at the 2018 MAC Championships and 6th at the 2018 NCAA Southeast Regional with a 17-17 record in his junior season... Finished his senior campaign with a 29-8 overall record during which he placed fourth at the Ned McGinley Invitational, second at the Gettysburg Invitational and fifth at the 2019 NCAA Southeast Regional.
