Grater is a native of Saddle Brook, N.J.and Saddle Brook High School... Recorded a 25-7 record as a senior at Saddle Brook... Went 8-19 at 149-pounds as a first year in 2022-23... Finished his sophomore season in 2023-24 with a 17-19 record and placed sixth at the Mideast Futures Tournament at 149-pounds... Went 18-14 as a junior in 2024-25 at 141 pounds with a third place finish in the Mideast Futures Tournament... Finished his Colonel career in 2025-26 with a 13-11 record at 149 pounds, finishing fourth in the Wilkes Invite and Blue Jay Classic.
