Bauer '24 joins the Wilkes wrestling staff as an assistant coach for the 2025-26 season.
Bauer was a member of the men's wrestling team for five seasons, finishing with a career record of 92-39 at the 133 and 141 weight classes. His career highlights include a sixth place finish at the 2020 MAC Championships, earning All-MAC Second Team honors during the 2021-2022 season with a 21-9 record, and earning a second place finish at the Wildcat Invitational and a seventh place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional at 133-pounds that same year. In his senior season, he was the champion of the Ned McGinley Invitational, finished third at the Blue Jay Classic, and finished sixth place the MAC Championships and NCAA Southeast Regional. During his final season as a graduate-student, he placed second at the Blue Jay Classic and Doug Parker Invitational.
Bauer graduated from Wilkes in 2024 with a degree in business administration.
