This bio is now a part of a historical archive, the individual is no longer employed by Wilkes University.

Jamie Miller rejoins the Wilkes coaching staff as an assistant coach and program director of the Colonel Wrestling Club.

Miller initially joined the staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach from 2009-2013. During that time, he was part of the 2009-2010 record setting 22-win team, and made the team's first trip to Iowa to compete in the National Duals.

After three successful seasons with the Colonels, Miller accepted the position of Varsity Assistant Coach at Wyoming Valley West High School. In three seasons with the Spartans, he coached three 100 win wrestlers, three state qualifiers, two state place finishers (including one state finalist), and the winningest wrestler in the school's history. In 2013-2014, the Spartans set a school record with 22 dual meet wins, captured the District II Team Title and first team win a the PIAA State Tournament, and received District II Coaching Staff of the Year honors.

In April of 2016, with the help of Coach Laudenslager and local District II high school coaches, Miller resurrected the Colonel Wrestling Club, providing an opportunity for local and regional high school wrestlers to continue to compete out-of-season at a high level.

Miller also holds the role of Assistant Director of Residence Life at Wilkes where he works closely with other members of the Student Affairs staff, Wilkes coaches, and Athletics Administration to provide leadership development opportunities for athletes and other student leaders. His work with student-athletes includes pre-season, in-season, and post-season workshops on personal and team accountability, focused goal setting, and establishing a shared vision for team and individual success.

Miller graduated New York University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, where he played baseball for three seasons and earned Academic All-American honors. In 2009, Miller completed his Master’s degree in Education from Mansfield University.
