Keith Klahold

Keith Klahold

Keith Klahold is entering his 23rd year in 2025-26 as Wilkes University’s Head Strength and Conditioning Coach/Fitness Center Coordinator.

While at Wilkes, he has coached 17 All-Americans in 18 different sports, and has been a part of 32 conference championship teams. In March 2019, Klahold earned the highest distinction from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He came to Wilkes after spending one year as the Head Strength Coach at Conrad Weiser High School in Robesonia, PA. Prior to Conrad Weiser, he spent five years building the strength and conditioning program at Division I Florida Atlantic University.

While at FAU he worked closely with coaching legends such as Howard Schnellenberger (football), Joan Joyce (softball), Sydney Green (Men’s Basketball) and Kevin Cooney (baseball). He coached 12 All-American players in 18 different sports and helped guide three different team sports to seven different conference championships. Between Wilkes and FAU, 31 of Klahold’s student-athletes have gone onto professional careers in their respective sport.

Klahold holds a BS in Athletic Training from Slippery Rock University, and a MS in Human Performance and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania. He also holds numerous certifications: NSCA Certified, CSCS, RSCC*E, Advanced Olympic Lifting Certification, and is a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist.
