Santiago is a native of Bethlehem, Pa. and Liberty High School... Went 76-42, including 31-10 as a senior, at Liberty. He was a PA State Qualifier once, a Regional Finalist, and a two-time District medalist (fourth place)... Finished his first year at Wilkes in 2023-24 with a 16-7 record at 149-pounds and placed third at the Blue Jay Classic and sixth at the Ned McGinley Invitational... Went 15-8 as a sophomore at 149 lbs. with a win in the Ned McGinley Invitational and a sixth place finish at the NCAA Region 2 Qualifier... Finished his junior year with a 23-7 record at 141 lbs. with a victory in the Ned McGinley Invitational and second-place finishes in the Wilkes Invite and Blue Jay Classic.
