Emilie Detweiler begins her fourth season as an assistant coach for the Wilkes swimming team in the 2024-25 season.
As a four year member of the team herself between 2018-22, Detweiler was part of a 400 medley relay that holds the school record of 4:13:27, which was achieved on February 14, 2020 during the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships. She was the Colonels' acting captain for the 2021-22 season, a recipient of the MAC All Sportsmanship Award in 2022, and was on the MAC Academic Honor Roll all four years.
Detweiler graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in May 2022 and is a current P3 student and PharmD Candidate. She is a teaching assistant in Anatomy and Physiology Lab, a supplemental instructor in Economics 102, and is also a member of Rho Chi and Psy Chi, which are the honors societies for pharmacy and psychology.
Currently, she serves as an assistant coach for the Tri Town Swim Team in Muncy, Pa.
