Griffin Schmoyer begins his second year as the Assistant Sports Information Director in 2025-26. He is responsible for assisting in publicity for all 24 varsity sports at Wilkes and the maintenance of the school's athletic website as well as live video and audio of Wilkes athletic events. He also helps manage all social media platforms of Colonel athletics and mentors the two part-time interns in the Sports Information office.
Among other duties, Schmoyer serves as the transportation coordinator for all 24 Colonel athletic programs.
Schmoyer spent one year as a Sports Information Assistant (intern) before being promoted to full-time status in June 2024.
The Coopersburg, Pa. native is also a member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Schmoyer graduated from Hofstra University in May 2023 with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism with a Sports Concentration, and currently lives in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
