Spence begins her first season on the Wilkes women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach in 2026-27.
Spence joins the Colonels after three seasons as a coach at Lackawanna College, spending two as the head coach in 2022-23 and 2023-24, leading the team to three NJCAA Region 19 semifinal appearances.
Prior to her time at Lackawanna, Spence coached for Stars and Stripes LLC as an Assistant Men’s ABA Basketball Coach from October 2020-April 2021, and at the Walker League as a 14U Boys/Girls AAU Head Coach from March 2018-October 2021.
A resident of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Spence graduated from the Allied Medical & Technical Institute in October of 2009 with an associate’s degree in science.
