Mages made significant contributions in the Colonels' season-opening tri-match sweep at Mount Aloysius on Saturday. The outside hitter got the day started with 10 kills, three aces and a .421 hitting percentage in the opening match sweep against Bard. In the following sweep of Mount Aloysius, he racked up 11 kills and two blocks. Mages ended the day with 27 points (4.5 per-set), 21 kills (3.5 per-set), four digs and two blocks over both matches.
