Lauren DeMarco went 2-0 on the week for Wilkes Softball, collecting wins against Lancaster Bible College on Friday and a shutout victory against No. 16 ranked Moravian University on Sunday. In the Colonels’ first game against the Chargers, DeMarco pitched four innings and only allowed two hits and one earned run with six strikeouts and no walks as they went on to win 10-6. On Sunday, DeMarco pitched a complete-game shutout, only allowing five hits with three strikeouts. In total, the sophomore pitched 11.0 innings allowing seven hits, one earned run, and nine strikeouts.
