DOYLESTOWN – Wilkes University committed just nine errors in a 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-16) sweep over Delaware Valley, improving to 4-1 in Freedom Conference play. 

Emily DeBuck (Pine Island, N.Y./Warwick Valley) had a match-high 10 kills without an error on 16 total attacks to lead the way for the Lady Colonels. Wilkes beat the Aggies in nearly every statistical category, picking up more kills, assists, digs and blocks. 
           
The Lady Colonels had a season-high 15 service aces in the win, including five from Marissa Harrison (Shavertown, Pa./Lake-Lehman). Defensively, Kaitlyn McGurk (Swarthmore, Pa./Ridley) had a team-high 12 digs, while LeeAnn Searfoss (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty), Harrison and Allison Kelleher (Sayre, Pa./Athens Area) added 10 each. 
           
Wilkes has now won three of its last four matches and will hit the road once again this weekend when they head to New York to play in the Courtland Tournament featuring Geneseo, Wesley, CCNY and Vassar.
