CENTER VALLEY – DeSales committed just eight errors in 108 total attacks, hitting .324 to take a 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-10) win over Wilkes University. 

           
Marissa Harrison (Shavertown, Pa./Lake-Lehman) led the way for the Lady Colonels, picking up eight of the team's 22 kills, while Katherine Harrington (LaFayette, N.Y./LaFayette Central) and Julie Page (New Milford, Pa./Blue Ridge) each had five. DeSales got a double-double from Kylie Fehnel, who had 12 kills to go along with 12 digs. Joann Rivera had a match-high 13 kills with just three errors in 31 total attacks. 

           
Harrison was also the team-leader in digs with 12, while LeeAnn Searfoss (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) had 10. 

           
All eight of DeSales' errors came in the first two games as it was perfect in the third, collecting 14 kills on 35 attacks without an error. 

           
The loss dropped the Lady Colonels to 1-1 in Freedom Conference play and they host King's next Tues. at 7 p.m. in the Marts Center.
