SCRANTON – Emily DeBuck (Pine Island, NY/Warwick Valley) and Marissa Harrison (Shavertown/Lake-Lehman) had 20 of the team's 32 kills, but the Lady Colonels committed 25 errors in 119 attacks that led to Scranton's 3-0 win.

The Lady Colonels battled in each game, dropping the first set 25-23 and the second 26-24 before the Royals won the match with a 25-20 win in the third game. Wilkes finished with a .059 hitting percentage, but tallied 66 digs defensively to Scranton's 59.

Harrison picked up another double-double for the Lady Colonels with 10 kills and 16 digs, while Allison Kelleher (Sayre, Pa./Athens Area) had a match-high 19 digs.

Wilkes fell to 15-11 while the Royals improved to 6-17 on the year. The Lady Colonels will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 28 for their final regular season match of the season. They will host Misericordia at 7 p.m. in the Marts Center.
