DOYLESTOWN – The Wilkes University field hockey team challenged Delaware Valley on Saturday, falling to their conference foe by a final score of 3-0.

The Aggies scored two first half goals to take a comfortable 2-0 lead going into the break. Wilkes was only able to get off one shot in the period.

In the second half Wilkes had 10 penalty corners, but was unable to convert despite getting off six shots. Delaware Valley added another score right before the 50 minute mark, pushing its lead to 3-0.

Lindsey Davenport (Dallas, Dallas)had seven saves on the day for Wilkes

The Lady Colonels will try and turn things around when they head to Dallas, Pa. to take on Misericordia. That game will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26.
