READING – Marissa Harrison (Shavertown, Lake-Lehman) posted 17 kills and 12 digs to and Kate McGurk (Swarthmore, Ridley) added 18 assists to lead Wilkes University to a 3-0 win over Albright College in a non-conference volleyball match on Tuesday night.

The Lady Colonels (3-3) took the three games by scores of 27-25, 25-22 and 25-17 and held advantages in kills (44-36), assists (33-32) and digs (63-49).

In addition to her 18 assists, McGurk also had 10 digs and two kills. Allie Kelleher (Sayre, Athens Area) led Wilkes with 20 digs and had two assists while Alex Zero (Moscow, North Pocono) added 12 assists and five digs. Casey Bohan (Harding, Wyoming Area) had nine digs while Paige Trusty (Durham, CT, Coginchaug) added six.

The Lady Colonels hit the court again this weekend when they participate in the Scranton Invitational. Friday games will include a rematch with Centenary at 4:00 p.m. and against Pitt-Bradford at 6:00 p.m.
