Wilkes falls to 2-8 overall on the season, while William Patterson improves to 3-10 on the year. After a scoreless first 41:00 minutes, William Patterson's Taylor Clayton broke the tie netting the eventual game-winner when she knocked in a penalty corner at the 41:13 mark of the second half. Lauren Boegly made it 2-0 when she found the back of the cage off an assist from Jaclyn Bertos at 42:29. The Pioneers would add one more insurance tally late in the contest as Bertos notched her second helper of the afternoon on Jessica Nendze's goal with 4:50 left to play. William Patterson held a slight 15-13 shot advantage, while Wilkes garnered nine penalty corners to WPU's seven attempts. Wilkes goalie Lindsey Davenport (Dallas, PA/Dallas) finished with nine saves in net, while Pioneers keeper Kellye Statz made nine stops to record the shutout.
