• The Colonels, ranked No. 14, return to the mat as the Colonels travel to Collegeville, Pa. to participate in the North/South Duals at Ursinus College.
 
• WU is coming off a performance at the 79th annual Wilkes Open December 28th. Two Colonels claimed top four finishes as (#5 NWCA) Anthony Dattolo (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) continued his perfect senior campaign claiming the 149-pound crown. Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) took second place at 133-pounds.
 
• WU will face four schools on Saturday, going up against USMMA at 9:30 a.m., No. 20 Stevens at 11:00 a.m., No. 19 Messiah at 12:30 p.m. and West Chester at 2:00 p.m.
 
• WU features one ranked wrestler, two contenders, and three honorable mentions according to d3wrestle.com rankings (1/3/12). Anthony Dattolo (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) is tabbed 6th at 149, unbeaten at 20-0. Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) (133) and Ryan Wilson (Manasquan, NJ/Wall Township) (141) are listed as contenders standing 14-5 and 12-5 respectively. Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) (125), Nathan White (Ellicott City, MD/River Hill) (165) and Dustin Stough (Friendsville, MD/Northern Garrett) (174) garnered Honorable Mention selections in the poll.
 
• 15 Colonels wrestling this weekend have at least 10 wins on the year; 27 Colonels have .500 records or better thus far this season.
