Wilkes evens its overall mark at 8-8 and improves to 3-4 in Freedom play following the win. Misericordia drops to 3-15 overall and 1-6 in league games. Frankel scored the game-winner at the 59:07 mark of the second half off an assist from Kerryn Redcay (Reading, PA/Wilson), just four minutes after Misericordia's Lindsay Hischak scored unassisted to tie the game at 1-1. After the teams went scoreless in the first half, Ashley Hahn (Bangor, PA/Bangor) gave Wilkes a 1-0 lead at the 45:42 mark when the junior scored her sixth goal of the season thanks to a pass from Frankel. Wilkes dominated most of the game in their offensive end holding a 24-11 shot advantage, while garnering 19 penalty corners to Misericordia's four corner attempts. Alexis Reed (Greenport, NY/Greenport) earned her eighth win in net for the Lady Colonels finishing with 10 saves. Keeper Grace Riker made 14 stops in the losing effort for Misericordia.
