WILKES VOLLEYBALL SPLITS IN TRI-MATCH SATURDAY
 
Reading, PA – The Wilkes University women's volleyball team fell to Alvernia University 3-1 before coming back strong with a 3-1 victory over Arcadia University Saturday afternoon in a quad-match held on the campus of Alvernia.

With the split, Wilkes moves to 7-12 on the season and remains at 2-2 in Freedom play.

In the first match against the host Alvernia, Casey Bohan (Harding/Wyoming Area) led the way offensively for the Lady Colonels with a team-high 19 kills and two solo blocks. Paige Trusty (Durham, CT/Coginchaug) added six kills while Erin Nothstein (Mertztown/Brandywine Heights) recorded a team-high 26 digs. Megan Powers (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) posted 27 assists for Wilkes.

Alvernia saw three players record 11 kills or more.

In the second match of the day against Arcadia, Bohan recorded a match-high 21 kills while Paige Trusty (Durham, CT/Coginchaug) added 13 respectively. Megan Powers (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) posted 44 assists while Nothstein collected 25 digs.

The Lady Colonels return to action Monday when they travel up I81 to the University of Scranton for a non-conference tilt scheduled for 7:00 p.m. from the Long Center.
