With the loss Wilkes season ends at 9-16 overall. It marked the first postseason appearance since 2009 for the Lady Colonels. The Bulldogs took the set by scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-17 with 18 ties and nine lead changes throughout. Casey Bohan (Harding/Wyoming Area) led the Wilkes attack with a match-high 17 kills, five digs and one solo block. With the 17 kills, Bohan finishes the season with 406 total kills, breaking the single season school record in the process (Marissa Harrison 404 in 2009). Paige Trusty (Durham, CT/Coginchaug) followed with 13 kills and two assists. Setter Megan Powers (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) led the passing game with 32 assists, while libero Erin Nothstein (Mertztown/Brandywine Heights) finished with a team-high 23 digs on the Wilkes backline.
