Colonels Notebook
• Wilkes, ranked No. 19, returns to its home mat as the Colonels welcome No. 5 Ithaca College Friday night.
 
• WU posted a 27-10 Metropolitan victory over No. 30 The College of New Jersey last Friday. The Colonels are 11-0 in their last eleven dual matches dating back to the North/South Duals.
 
• Senior All-American Anthony Dattolo (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) stands with 104 career wins, seven behind the school's all-time leader John Conte who finished with 111 victories. Dattolo remains unbeaten on the season at 27-0 at 149-pounds. He became only the fifth Wilkes wrestler to reach the 100-win plateau in the programs rich history earlier this year.
 
• Wilkes features one ranked wrestler, two contenders, and three honorable mentions according to d3wrestle.com rankings (2/1/12). Dattolo is tabbed 5th at 149, unbeaten at 27-0. Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) (21-6) and Ryan Wilson (Manasquan, NJ/Wall Township) (20-6) are listed as contenders at 133 and 141 pounds respectively. Michael Fleck (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) (125), Nathan White (Ellicott City, MD/River Hill) (165), and Dustin Stough (Friendsville, MD/Northern Garrett) (174) all garnered Honorable Mention selections in the poll.
 
• Eight Colonels wrestling Friday have at least 20 wins on the year; 29 Colonels have .500 records or better thus far this season.
 
• Five individuals from Ithaca are also ranked/honored in the d3wrestle.com poll: Seth Ecker (1st - 133); Jeremy Stierly (2nd - 149); Nick Sanko (Contender - 165); Jules Doliscar (1st - 174); Matt Mahon (Contender - 285)
