WILKES VOLLEYBALL DROPS PAIR OF MATCHES AT GREYHOUND INVITATIONAL

BETHLEHEM, PA – The Wilkes University volleyball team suffered a pair of defeats to open play at the 2012 Greyhound Premiere Invitational Friday night on the campus of Moravian College.

The Lady Colonels fell 3-0 against Muhlenberg College by scores of 26-24, 25-23, 25-18. Wilkes then fell 3-1 against Centenary College in its second match of the night by scores of 12-25, 25-22, 25-21, 27-25.

Wilkes will be back in action on day two of the event facing Ursinus College at 10:00 a.m. then finishing with Alvernia University at 12:00 p.m.
