Colonels Notebook
• The Colonels enters this weekend's NY/PA Challenge with a 7-1 dual record after competing in the John Reese and Electric City duals last Saturday. Wilkes went 3-0 at the Reese Duals and finished 4-1 for second place at the Electric City Duals. The dual match win streak ended at 26 straight for the Colonels, a school-record.

• At 133-pounds, senior Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) (89-23) needs just 11 more victories to reach the 100-win plateau for his career. He would become the sixth Wilkes wrestler to reach the milestone and the second in three years as Anthony Dattolo eclipsed the mark in 2011-12.

• 11 wrestlers have started with five wins or better and 22 wrestlers stand .500 or better through the first two weeks of competition for Wilkes.

• The Colonels will matchup against three New York area schools including matches against Mt. Saint Vincent, New York University, and Hunter College on Saturday.
