Colonels Notebook
• Wilkes enters tonight's dual match looking for its 18th straight win after posting 17 straight victories dating back to November 10th. The 18 straight victories would tie the school record set during the 1979-80 season where the Colonels finished 19-2 overall, losing to Lehigh and Oregon State.
 
• The Colonels, ranked No. 7, posted three wins in their home quad two weeks ago. Wilkes began the day cruising by McDaniel 30-12 before a 36-6 win over Trinity and 43-3 victory against Lycoming.
 
• The Colonels have 27 wrestlers who have notched at least five wins this season as well as 21 wrestlers with .500 or better marks.
 
• Three Wilkes wrestles are ranked nationally in the latest NWCA individual rankings. At 133, junior Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) (27-4) is tabbed fifth, while redshirt sophomore Mark Hartenstine (Easton, PA/Easton) (16-1) is ranked second at 149-pounds and junior Kris Krawchuk (Slatington, PA/Northern Lehigh) (21-2) was selected fourth at 157 after moving up a class midway through this season.
 
Guesseppe Rea (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) (26-8) was selected as an honorable mention in the latest d3wrestle.com rankings while Matt Transue (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) (19-8) and Nathan White (Ellicott City, MD/River Hill) (21-7) were also tabbed honorable mentions at 197 and 165 respectively to round out the Colonels with individual honors.
 
• Ithaca features four wrestlers ranked in the latest NWCA individual rankings. Jules Doliscar (26-1) is ranked second at 174, while Ricky Gomez (21-2) is tabbed third at 125 and Alex Gomez (12-4) fourth at 133-pounds. Derek Brenon (19-2) rounds out the ranked Bombers selected sixth at 157.
