WILKES GOLFERS FINISH 11TH AT GLENMAURA INVITATIONAL; NOLT FIRES IN SECOND ROUND 80
 
GLENMAURA, PA – The Wilkes University golf team concluded play at the 2013 Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational Monday afternoon as the Colonels finished 11th of 12 teams at the event. The squad shot a combined 711 through the two-round event.
 
Jeremy Nolt (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia) led the way in the second round carding a season-low 80 for a combined 165 at the event. Michael Daubert (Thornhurst, PA/Coughlin) kept pace with an 85 on day two for a total of 170.
 
Host the University of Scranton captured the tournament crown with a score of 622. Scranton finished tied with McDaniel but won on a second aggregate playoff hole. The Royals were even par while McDaniel finished plus 3 on the playoff hole.
 
Wilkes will host William Patterson University and the University of Scranton Wednesday at the Huntsville Golf Club at 12:30 p.m.
