WILKES GOLFERS FINISH 10^TH OF 11 TEAMS AT MUHLENBERG INVITATIONAL

ALLENTOWN, PA – The Wilkes University golf team finished in 10^th place at the Muhlenberg Invitational held at the Lehigh Country Club Monday afternoon.

The Colonels shot a combined 383 (+103) at the par 70, 6442-yard course. Alvernia University captured the team championship shooting a 314 (+34) at the event. Host Muhlenberg College followed in second place with a 316 (+36).

Jeremy Nolt (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia) led the way for Wilkes carding an 86 (+16) for 27^th place. Darren Mensch (Muncy, PA/Muncy) followed with a 92 (+22) finishing in 38^th place. Jonathan Nagar (Sayre, PA/Sayre) (96/43^rd) and Conor Clair (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush Central) (109/51^st) rounded out the Colonel scorers.

Wilkes will next compete at the Freedom Conference Championships Saturday and Sunday.
