The Colonels shot a combined 344 (+60) through the first round of play. Nolt's 81 (+10) led the five Wilkes competitors throughout round one. Michael Daubert (Thornhurst, PA/Coughlin) followed with an 86 (+15) finishing in 18th place, while Arlindo Isidoro (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) carded an 88 (+17) for 17th place. Johnathan Nagar (89/18th) and Darren Mensch (Muncy, PA/Muncy) (98/38th) rounded out the Colonel scorers on day one. DeSales University top the eight-team championship through day one shooting a combined 325 (+41) at the par 71 course (7061 yards).
