NOLT PLACES 5^TH OVERALL AS WILKES GOLFERS FINISH 7^TH AT FREEDOM CHAMPIONSHIPS

HERSHEY, PA – Jeremy Nolt (Bloomsburg, PA/Central Columbia) equaled his first round 81 with the same on day two finishing tied for fifth overall (162) as the Wilkes University golfers finished in seventh place at the Freedom Conference Championships Sunday afternoon at the Hershey Country Club East Course.

Nolt matched his 81 yesterday with another 81 on day two of the event finishing with a combined 162 (+20). His fifth place finish earns him All-Freedom Conference First Team honors.

As a team, Wilkes finished with a two-day total of 698 (344/354) claiming seventh place in the team standings in front of cross-town rival King's College (716). FDU-Florham captured the Freedom title with a two-day total of 646 (327/319). DeSales University followed in second place (661) while Misericordia University finished third (670).

Michael Daubert (Thornhurst, PA/Coughlin) carded a second round 89 after firing in an 86 on day one. He finished tied for 27^th overall alongside teammate Arlindo Isidoro (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) (88/87). Johnathan Nagar shot a 97 on day two after an 89 in round one for a two-day total of 186 (35^th overall). Darren Mensch (Muncy, PA/Muncy) rounded out the Colonel finishers with a two-day total of 200 (98/102) for 38^th place.

Billy King of FDU-Florham took home medalist honors with a two-day score of 156 (79/77) on the Par 71 course.
