WILKES MEN'S GOLF FINISHES 8TH AT MISERICORDIA INVITATIONAL
 
WHITE HAVEN, PA – The Wilkes University men's golf team finished in eighth place at the 2013 Misericordia Invitational held at the Mountain Laurel Golf Club Monday afternoon.
 
The Colonels garnered a team score of 373 on the afternoon. FDU-Florham took the team title with a 304 while the host Misericordia shot a 306 for second place.
 
Wilkes was led by Connor Clair who fired in a team-best 91 (34th place). John Nagar followed with a 92 while Darren Mensch (Muncy, PA/Muncy) (95/t-37th), Frederick Talarico (95/t-37th) and Anthony Pero (Old Forge, PA/Old Forge) (102/39th) rounded out the Colonel scorers.
 
Wilkes will return to the course  Sunday and Monday competing in the King's/Scranton Invitational at the Glenmaura Golf Club. Play begins as 12:30 p.m.
