WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Wilkes University volleyball team finished 2-1 at the Lycoming College quad-match Saturday afternoon. The Lady Colonels dropped a 3-0 decision against the host Lycoming, before posting a 3-0 win over Penn College and 3-1 victory over Baptist Bible College.

Wilkes moves to 3-6 overall on the season following the trio of matches.

In the win over Penn College, Casey Bohan (Harding/Wyoming Area) led the attack with 10 kills while Kelsey Yacko (Shamokin, PA/Shamokin) followed with a season-high eight kills. Rookie setter Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) led the passing game with 26 assists, while Erin Nothstein (Mertztown/Brandywine Heights) finished with 12 digs in her defensive specialist position.

Four different Lady Colonels posted eight kills or more in the victory over BBC. Bohan totaled 13 kills, Yacko eight, Paige Trusty (Durham, CT/Coginchaug) eight, and Paskas seven. Megan Powers (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) led the passing game with 40 assists. Nothstein notched 20 digs.

Wilkes returns to action Monday when the Lady Colonels travel to Penn State Berks for a 7:00 p.m. match in Reading, Pa.
