Wilkes slips to 0-4 on the year while Wesley improves to 3-2 following the victory. After Wesley took a 1-0 lead with 21:58 on the first half clock, senior Ashley Hahn (Bangor, PA/Bangor) tied the game late in the first half for Wilkes when she scored off an assist from Taylor Ryan (Spotsylvania, VA/Courtland). The game would remain tied until the 53:47 mark when Wesley's Leone scored the eventual game-winner off a penalty corner. Alexis Reed (Greenport, NY/Greenport) suffered the loss in net for Wilkes making four saves throughout. Sarah Daniel posted the win for Wesley finishing with eight saves. Wilkes outshot Wesley 20-12, while garnering two more penalty corner opportunities, 13-11. Wilkes returns to action Friday when the Lady Colonels travel to Chester, Pa. to face Widener University.
