Wilkes dropped a 3-0 decision to Cabrini College in its first match of the day but rebounded with a 3-0 sweep of William Patterson University in the nightcap. Wilkes sees its overall record move to 10-12 on the year following the split. In the loss against Cabrini, the Cavaliers took the match by scores of 25-10, 25-12 and 25-21. Danica Benson (Allentown, PA/Emmaus) led the Wilkes offensive attack with six kills. Marissa Mallory (Pine Bush, NY/Pine Bush) added five kills and a team-high eight digs. Setter Megan Powers (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville) paced the passing game finishing with a team-best 10 assists. Wilkes rebounded with a sweep of William Patterson by scores of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-9. Nine different Lady Colonels registered a kill in the victory led by Ally Paskas (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford)' nine kills and 14 digs. Ellen Mook (Meadville, PA/Meadville) followed with seven kills and two solo blocks, while Benson and Abigail Sanders (Allentown, PA/Northwestern Lehigh) each contributed six kills from their outside hitter positions. Erin Nothstein (Mertztown/Brandywine Heights) led the Wilkes backline with a match-high 21 digs while setter Alexis Morgan (Walnutport, PA/Northampton) finished with 21 assists on Wilkes' 42 team kills.
