Wilkes improves to 10-8 overall following the win while Cortland drops to 6-8-2 on the year. Sabovic made a move past Cortland's center back and ripped a shot past the keeper to the left post to put Wilkes up 1-0 with 3:40 left in the first half. It was all the scoring Wilkes needed as the defense stiffened and held the Red Dragons off the board. Cortland held a 16-5 shot advantage while garnering four corner kicks to Wilkes' two attempts. Lisa Semetti (Limerick, PA/Spring-Ford) finished with seven saves to pick up the win in net. Renee Walker made three stops for Cortland.
